How-To | How To Set Up the Time on Your Simply Bread Oven

Hi bakers!

In today's blog post, part of our Oven How-To's series, we will show you how to use the time zone settings on your oven.

It may not seem like it, but the art of bread baking is deeply connected to the time of the day, as it can affect the dough's fermentation, shaping, proofing, and ultimately, the flavor, texture, and aroma of the finished loaf.

We know how important it is for bakers to be on time and harness the optimal condition; therefore, we made sure that your Simply Bread Oven will be your trusted partner, always indicating the correct time, no matter your location.

Time is precious: we made sure to make the process of choosing your time settings on your Simply Bread oven very simple and quick. We also included a video below, walking you through the different steps. So let's roll up our sleeves, and get started!

STEP #1

The first step is to go to the settings of your oven, by pressing and holding the C/F knob located on the right side of your oven panel.

STEP #2

Once the screen displays the settings menu, rotate the knob clockwise to scroll down to "Time Zone". Once this section is highlighted, press the C/F knob to select it.

STEP #3 - Select the Country

Your screen will now display two options: "U.S." or "Canada". Rotate the knob to highlight your country and press the knob to select it.

STEP #4 - Select the Time Zone

Once you have selected your country, you will now be able to choose your local time zone. Rotate the knob to highlight your time zone and press the knob to select it.

STEP #5 - Select the Time Format

After selecting your time zone, the screen will take you back to the main menu. If you would like to switch your clock format between 24H time and AM/PM, scroll down to "Time" and press the knob to select it. Scroll to select your preferred format and press the knob to select it.

To exit the settings menu, rotate the C/F knob counterclockwise until “Exit” is highlighted. Press the knob to select it. Your display will return to the homepage. You are all done!
